Where to stay in Phuket
Patong is convenient — but it is not for everyone.
Patong suits younger travellers who want nightlife and easy access to restaurants. Families or couples wanting a quieter atmosphere may prefer Kata, Karon or resort areas further away from the busiest streets.

When to visit Thailand
Beach conditions vary by coast and season.
For Phuket and Krabi, the cooler/drier months are the most popular. Wet-season trips can still work well but sea conditions may affect island tours.

Patong is usually the most convenient for nightlife and walking access. Families and quieter couples may prefer Kata, Karon or resort areas further out.
Are island tours guaranteed to run?
No. Boat tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. Safety-related route changes can happen locally.
Can Bangkok be added?
Yes. Two or three nights in Bangkok can be added before or after Phuket/Krabi depending on flight routing.
